Extract from the text: “Here, embroidery expresses a dialogue built through patience, meticulousness, and intuitive craftsmanship. Mustafa’s embroidery doesn’t break the silence of the photographs; instead, it offers a respectful interpretation of that silence. In the artist’s works, this silence becomes a kind of call. It doesn’t seek possession, but presence; not completion, but the shared experience of incompleteness; not memory, but the shared act of imagining.
This contact with the forgotten allows for a memory that does not belong solely to the past. It creates a space where the viewer can construct their own narrative through anonymous images. Each image thus winks at another memory. Every shadow evokes another absence. Each unrecognized face embeds itself in the viewer’s memory.”
