We all have a simulation in our phones, in which our own virtual entity exists. The facts of the world we live in are not valid in this originated universe.
So, why do we need this fabricated identity? Why can’t we confine ourselves to our tangible existence in this world?
The initial thought in this regard was that we would have had more access to information following the inclusion of communication devices in our daily lives. The conviction that technology would be a significant breakthrough in the progress of science and making sense of life, was that of a common one. However, in today’s world knowledge and meaning have started to be replaced by other things. Knowledge is no longer the priority of humanity. In fact, even information which is classified as absolute, may be distorted by means of the same technology. It is now impossible to reach an absolute reality. This question may find it’s answer in the whole of human history. The basis of this is grounded on the tendency to ‘have things’. Man has this feeling since birth. However, the desire to possess objects, people and to keep them is a desire which develops after the birth.

He is convinced that he will become happy by having more. He realizes that this is not the case. In doing so, he begins to buy more, eat more, spend more. Since this need of consumption permeates one’s relationship with living beings as well as the manner in which language is used, it results in the deviation one’s perception of value.
Because consumption is associated with happiness in our minds. Not only are our needs not determined by ourselves; what makes us happy is also taught to us. What our life should be like, even how we must dream of the future is imposed by advertisements.
We live in a world where we consider all of these to be our own choices. And this situation transcends pretending and passes beyond to creating a universe of simulation. Because we believe in the reality which this world creates and live on the basis of this universe. A universe in which objects and people exist to the extent that they are exhibited…
